Hi sorry for dying again, intense artblock lol. I've just been sketching some random stuff in my sketchbook and thinking about my comic, anyway
I need help, yes.

I'm looking for some help because there's some stuff about drawing that I can't figure out myself. I deeply feel that my art improves each drawing I get finished, but the thing is that I only improve stuff that have nothing to do with I want to get better at. One example are poses, any type of poses. Sure I can get any pose done but it takes an extremely amount of time. Another one is just male body types, really want to get better at drawing boys but I have noooo idea where to start. So if you know how do draw any of those and you're willing to help, please message me! I AM GOING CRAZY HELP ME PLEASE--
DocTenebrisXII 03 May 2019 at 06:34 THis will sounds like useless advice for you, but I did the same once: look on internet how to draw men and how to draw women, anatomy for artist, something like that. Also, ypu can always try to remember that male body types usually have more shoulders and slimmer waist than females... Also I got some interesting tidbit from an annoying girl a while ago: females hips are in the samel ine as their shoulders xD sorry if my English doesn't help much XD Also, about poses, their is no helping it: you have to check references and try to immitate them, but you have to get familiar with the figures of humans first XD
Luna ✡ Saphiran 03 May 2019 at 13:42 Bia i know how to help! USE REFERENCES OWMDKAWODKMAOKWMOW (ya'll this advice kinda sucks uwu) tho honestly try to stylize real life pictures, and working with 3d space for poses (also proportions)
Misty Devonshire 03 May 2019 at 15:20 DocTenebrisXII, Huh okay, seems like a great advice. Thank you I'll try it!
Misty Devonshire 03 May 2019 at 15:21 Luna ✡ Saphiran , Luna you know me well enough that I go around pinterest for poses all the time, you know referencing doesn't help at all times. That's why you always seek for my help ;-;
Luna ✡ Saphiran 04 May 2019 at 10:59 Misty Devonshire, yes ik ;-; sorry ;--;
Skylar 04 May 2019 at 15:09 I don't really know if I can help, but try basing different parts of the body with shapes. For poses, all I can say is the the method I use is either a figurine or taking a picture of myself in the pose I want to draw. I hope this helps in some way and I wish you the best of luck
DocTenebrisXII 04 May 2019 at 17:27 Also, Skylar has a very good point! Use your own body as a model xD I also do that sometimes, posing in front of a mirror, for example.
Misty Devonshire 04 May 2019 at 20:12 Skylar, Huh I should try that too. Thanks for the help!

Misty Devonshire 04 May 2019 at 20:14 DocTenebrisXII, I dont think I could do it, sometimes simply looking at the mirror with a straight face makes me laugh the heck out xD
Skylar 05 May 2019 at 15:45 Misty Devonshire, No problem, and I hope it goes well
DocTenebrisXII 07 May 2019 at 07:15 Misty Devonshire, you will be inmune to that effect around the third try xD
